Marie LeBlanc

Director — Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG)

Marie LeBlanc serves as Director — Environmental, Social, Governance (ESG) for Comunidad Partners. She leads the company’s ESG efforts, driving both business and societal value. This includes creating and executing a global ESG strategy, leveraging data-driven approaches to improve ESG impact, and implementing social impact program design to enhance outcomes for various stakeholders in the areas of equity and economic advancement, health & wellness and education.

“My personal mission is to contribute to a world where all people thrive, and I’m especially passionate about creating opportunities and building power for women as well as Black and Brown communities,” Marie says. “Comunidad’s values align with my own, and working here gives me the chance to live out my mission and help build stronger communities.”

Prior to joining Comunidad Partners, Marie was the director of design at Independent Sector, where she contributed to a variety of nonprofit impact and leadership programs. She also previously served as the community partnerships coordinator at the Catalogue for Philanthropy: Greater Washington.

Marie received bachelor’s degrees in international affairs, French and Spanish from Florida State University as well as a master’s degree in development studies from the London School of Economics. A passionate volunteer and advocate, she also supports organizations like the Austin Justice Coalition and Free Minds Book Club.
